The event hashtag #DontBeTheOne translates to "Jangan Jadi Mangsa Strok" in Malay. The event was held at KB Mall Kota Bharu, which is a public shopping mall in the main town of Kelantan, Malaysia.

Stroke quiz competitions for school children and public visitors, stroke forum, sharing session from stroke survivors and their caretakers, blood donation drive, and lucky draw were among the activities held during the event. A stroke exhibition had also been set up at the event location. The 10 booths included health screening for stroke risk factors, balance and cognitive screening, free consultation provided by speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dieticians, radiologists, pharmacists and adult and pediatric neurologists. The event received many visitors and achieved the primary objectives of promoting stroke awareness and prevention of stroke risk factors.
